The primary purpose of this association shall be to magnify the Lordship of Jesus Christ in every area of our denomination.
- To assist churches in the propagation of the gospel through evangelism, missions, education and benevolence.
- To cultivate a spirit of brotherly love and fellowship among the members of our churches, and to promote harmony of feeling and concert of action.
- This association shall cooperate with the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention.
- This association does not have and shall never attempt to exercise a single attribute of power over any church, but recognize the absolute independence of the churches.
